It seems that the rumours of whether there will be an Amazon Kindle 3 released in November is becoming hotter and hotter, especially since Barnes & Noble released its Nook eBook reader, but is there any truth to the speculation?
As for being released before Christmas, I doubt it. The Kindle 2 is still selling very well and Amazon only recently released their international version.
While many people are holding off in hopes that Kindle 3 will be released soon I think they’ll be waiting in vain. While I’m sure that Amazon do have further plans for one of their best selling products (including that colour screen that everyone wants and which the Nook has) it’s not likely that it will be here any time soon.
In fact it’s much more likely that it will be released this time next year. So you’ll probably have a whole year to wait.
Until then enjoy your Kindle book readers that you have now.
